Weddings & Renewals of Vows
To ensure your ceremony is as individual as you and your relationship, I will work with you to create the bespoke ceremony that’s uniquely yours. Whether you want a more traditional service with elements of one or more religions; a modern ceremony, or possibly an elopement to prioritise intimacy and focus on your deep personal connection, neither the location nor the time needs to be a restriction.
You may want to include a ritual such as handfasting, a unity candle or a sand ceremony, or even tailor your own ritual with cocktail mixing or cake making.
Have you been reconciled following a period of separation, or are you marking a milestone anniversary? Why not reaffirm your commitment to each other with a renewal of vows ceremony.
Making updated promises, pledges or assurances for your next chapter together can be celebrated with friends, family, children and grandchildren, and even the family pet!
The Process
What’s involved?
- The initial meeting. Let’s get to know each other, see if we gel, and get planning.
- The questionnaire/quiz. A perfect opportunity to find out more about your ideal day and those all important touches you crave.
- The written draft. This is where the magic happens! The first script that brings together your inside story with other content such as rituals, readings or poems, each of which I can help you choose.
- The vows. With or without my input these can be written together as a couple, or secretly as individuals for the ultimate big day surprise.
- The background planning. My liaising with your other ceremony suppliers will make sure everything goes to plan.
- The sign-off meeting. All amendments to the script have been made, the day’s finer details have been ironed out, and we’re all good to go.
- The rehearsal. As an optional extra you may want to make sure practice makes perfect.
- The main event. It’s the big day and time for me to officiate your ceremony and commemorate the all-important next step of your journey.
- The memorabilia. A presentation copy of either your ceremony script, or your vows.
What’s the cost, what’s included and what are the optional extras?
- Price is £700, to include travel within a 40 miles radius from Lytham St. Annes.
- Travel outside of this area will cost an additional 40 pence per mile.
- Rehearsals cost £100 each.
- A presentation copy of either the ceremony script or your vows will be included.
- Additional presentation copies of the ceremony script, your vows, readings or poems are available at a cost of £15 each.
