Funerals & Celebrations of Life

Whether commemorating the life of your loved one with a burial, cremation, or an internment of ashes, I will provide a memorable and respectful service that evokes a fitting atmosphere.

With a ceremony composed of precious memories, and the appropriate balance of laughter and tears, you can choose whether to include any religious content. As befits your loved one’s memory and your personal wishes, focus can either be on paying homage and/or celebrating a life once shared.

Alternatively, as someone who knows their time on this earth is limited, perhaps you want to celebrate your life now with a living funeral. Holding your wishes at the heart of the ceremony, I will formulate a fitting script for you to revisit and celebrate previous magical moments with friends, family and loved ones.

The Process

What’s involved?

  • The initial meeting. Let’s have a chat, see how I can help and get planning.
  • The questionnaire. Not always necessary, but nevertheless a perfect opportunity to find out more about you and/or your loved one, and those all important touches you crave.
  • The written draft. The first script will bring together your most precious memories with other content such as readings or poems, each of which I can help you choose.
  • The background planning. My liaison with the venue and any suppliers will make sure everything goes to plan.
  • The sign-off meeting. All amendments to the script have been made and the day’s finer details have been figured out.
  • The rehearsal. As an optional extra you may want to make sure practice makes perfect.
  • The ceremony day. Time for me to officiate the funeral or celebration of life.

What’s the cost, what’s included and what are the optional extras?

  • Price is £275, to include travel within a 40 miles radius from Lytham St. Annes.
  • Travel outside of this area will cost an additional 40 pence per mile.
